AIP case study

Arjun Infrastructure Partners (AIP) has acquired a 75% shareholding in South Staffordshire Water (a regulated water company supplying 1.6million customers, with additional non-regulated interests providing contractual services to the UK water sector) from KKR, a global investment firm.

Brodies LLP performed the lead legal counsel role on the pre-acquisition structuring elements of the transaction, with White and Case LLP in London taking the lead on the acquisition aspects. Founded in 2015, AIP has now made seven investments on behalf of its investors in the United Kingdom and the Middle East.
