This is an important project for Aberdeen City Council.

A new exhibition and conference arena for the City of Aberdeen is a key part of the Council’s economic development strategy. It is also important given the significant investment of c.£350 million.

Outcome

We have provided advice since project inception including project contract issues as the development continues, at the contractual interface between the Council, the developer, and the third-party operator.

We are also advising on the energy strategy for TECA which involves a combination of Aberdeen’s UK-leading hydrogen experience, and the first public procurement of an anaerobic digestion plant, creating green biogas.
