Katy Angus

Katy joined the liability claims defence team in 2018. She has handled a wide variety of insurance litigation matters throughout her 11 year career and has significant court experience. She appears regularly in the All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury court and in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland at procedural and substantive hearings.

Katy manages a varied case load with a particular focus on employer's liability and occupational disease claims and is often instructed by clients from the manufacturing and construction sectors. She is a personable, diligent lawyer with strong advocacy skills, who is ranked by Chambers and Partners as an 'Associate to Watch' for Insurance.
