Brodies LLP is the top ranked independent Scottish law firm in a league table of the UK's 300 top graduate employers published by the Guardian newspaper.
The firm is ranked 229th in the prestigious list, up 23 places on last year, and is one of only 64 law firms across the UK to feature in the ranking, which is based on a survey of 62,814 undergraduates between September 2016 and January 2017.
Students were asked to identify the sector in which they intended to work and then rank the top three graduate employers in that sector.
The data was cleansed and weighted by Higher Education Statistics Agency population statistics to ensure that the findings were accurate, representative and correctly identified the most popular graduate recruiters.
Kirstie Maclennan, Brodies' HR Director, said: "We are delighted with our continued progress in the Guardian UK 300 ranking.
"As Scotland's largest law firm it's great to be recognised for our continued investment in developing and retaining graduate talent.
"We strive to provide a supportive environment in which graduates have the opportunity to work on exciting landmark projects alongside lawyers who are regarded as leaders in their fields.
"At this point in time we are looking at our recruitment of newly qualified lawyers for this year and I am glad to say we have been able to create new roles across the firm running into double digits - in all offices and all main business areas.
"We look forward to their contribution to our clients and the firm in the years ahead."
