Leading Scottish and top 50 UK law firm, Brodies LLP, has been recognised for its expertise in advising clients on high value personal and family matters in this year's Chambers UK High Net Worth Guide.

The firm maintains its band 1 rankings for private wealth law services in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh, and a band 3 UK ranking for family law. These listings in the Chambers guide – an official legal directory for firms and lawyers - are based on case studies, detailed research and feedback from clients and legal peers.

The guide also ranks Brodies for its expertise in private wealth law as a national leader outside London – one of just 10 firms outside the capital to be recognised – and lists eight of its personal and family lawyers individually.

Mark Stewart, partner and head of Personal and Family at Brodies, said: "Over the past 12 months, we have continued to invest in our personal and family law practice, to ensure we provide families and individuals with high-quality advice and solutions.

"That investment includes the promotion of Jennifer Wilkie to family partner and the appointments of personal and family specialists Lisa Law and Sarah Lilley, to support clients in the Highlands and Islands. We've also grown the number of accredited specialists within our practice to become the largest in Scotland, with nine family law specialists, eight accredited mediators, two trust accredited lawyers and two child law specialists.

"These latest Chambers rankings are indicative of the commitment that our colleagues have in understanding the objectives and challenges that are often unique to each family and individual's circumstances and providing them with considered, tailored advice and creative solutions. We thank those clients, for continuing to trust us with interesting and complex instructions."
