Brodies welcomes Andy Tyler as partner in real estate team

Prominent UK law firm, Brodies LLP, has strengthened its real estate practice with the appointment of Andy Tyler as a partner. Andy previously worked in Brodies' top-ranked real estate practice and rejoins from his previous firm, where he headed up the real estate team in Edinburgh.

Andy has built a broad real estate practice advising developers, investors, funders and occupiers across a range of sectors. He is particularly recognised for his work in the living sector, including purpose-built student accommodation, and advises clients in the life sciences, healthcare, logistics and light industrial, hospitality and leisure, and corporate occupier markets.

He has extensive experience advising on development projects and supporting clients throughout the full development lifecycle, from site acquisition and funding through to asset management and disposal. Andy is also a member of Real Estate: Scotland’s Purpose Built Student Accommodation Working Group.

His appointment reflects Brodies' continued investment in its market-leading real estate practice and the growing demand for specialist advice across a range of asset classes and sectors, particularly living and life sciences.
