Ayrshire Sisters Erin and Katie Robertson will be chasing breaststroke doubles at Brodies Scottish Schools' Championships at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre in Glasgow.
Erin competes in the 17-19 years section and is hoping to continue her great form from 2015 - a year that included victory in the 50m breaststroke at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa.
At Tollcross, she is favourite win the 100m and 200m events, and Katie is expected to do the same in the 15-16 years category.
With 700 swimmers from around 200 schools having qualified from the 22 regional qualifying events, the Championships are the highlight of the schools' programme.
Entries have flooded in from as far afield as Caithness and the Western Isles in the north to Dumfries-shire in the south.
Keanna MacInnes (Firrhill High School) and Craig McLean (Deans Community High School) are aiming to continue a run of success at Brodies Championships.
MacInnes set records in the 13-14 years butterfly at Aberdeen Sports Village 12 months ago and she is the fastest entry in the 200m event. But Anna Fleming (High School of Glasgow) should give her a run for the title in the 100m event.
McLean will be making his final appearance at the annual Championships. Just back from a month's training with the Scottish squad in Australia, the sixth year pupil will be hoping to bow out with a gold medal in the 17-19 years 100m freestyle.
The Championships take place at Tollcross International Swimming Centre on Saturday, January 30. Watch the whole event live at www.scottishswimming.com/live.
