Public Law

On Friday, the OFT published its draft guidance on the application of competition law to property agreements (known as “land agreements” in competition jargon). Land agreements are currently exempt from Chapter 1 of the Competition Act – which generally outlaws agreements that prevent, restrict or distort competition – but that exemption will be repealed as of 6 April 2011.

We’ve just posted a full briefing on the OFT’s guidance to the main Brodies website. You can find it here.
