Renewables

In response to someone asking the question “Why on earth do you do that?“, the renewables property team here at Brodies thought it might be useful to explain why property lawyers do things the way they do. My fellow Brodies’ property renewables team bloggers and I have produced a series of blogs on some of the key property related issues that affect renewable energy projects.

The blogs will cover a number of topics including “What is an option agreement?”, “How much land do you need?”, “Who owns the turbines?” and “Financing renewables projects”.

The blogs will come out over the next few months. If you have any specific questions, or if we don’t cover something of interest to you, do let us know and we’ll see what we can do to deal with this in a blog.

Do also look out for Brodies’ renewables team’s glossary of renewables terms which will be launched this coming week and for the Brodies’ stand at the upcoming All Energy Exhibition and Conference.

If you’re interested in meeting the Brodies’ renewables team at All Energy, look out for our online events calendar which will allow you to arrange a meeting at the event with one of our renewables team.

We hope you find the upcoming blogs useful.
