Flexible working
We are committed to ensuring that all colleagues achieve a good work-life balance and are treated fairly and consistently when they request a change to their work pattern. One in five of our colleagues enjoy flexible working and we have a variety of different patterns across the firm helping colleagues enjoy life outside of work and supporting them in meeting commitments. We welcome and encourage applicants who are interested in flexible working to have an open discussion with us in the early stages of their recruitment journey. Colleagues who may wish to change their work pattern during their employment are encouraged to submit flexible working proposals for consideration at any stage of their career journey.

Flexible working has been a massive breath of fresh air for me. There are so many benefits, whether that is heading off with friends/family/my husband for a mini break, or managing to socialise AND relax on a weekend. It's great having the choice and flexibility. It also means a lot knowing that I have an employer that recognises the importance of work/life balance.

Dress for your day
At Brodies, it is important that all our colleagues feel empowered and engaged at work. We want everyone to feel comfortable and able to do their best work in the office environment, and therefore we offer a flexible and relaxed 'business casual' dress code.
We want our colleagues 'to dress for their day', which means they can consider their day ahead and dress appropriately for what is in their diary on that particular day. Allowing colleagues to take control of how they dress for work and represent the Brodies brand is one of the ways we put decision making into their hands.
