The first transaction included a £6.56 million development loan from the Bank, alongside £1.23 million equity finance from the Housing Growth Partnership (HGP), where the investment will fund the delivery of 50 private and 12 affordable high-quality, sustainable homes in Peebles. The second transaction included an investment of £3.85 million from the Bank to help enable the delivery of 110 new homes in Lauder.
Through this investment the Bank and HGP are supporting Whiteburn’s delivery of private and affordable homes in the Scottish Borders, directly addressing the region's acute housing shortage.
The transactions showcase the Bank’s investment in financing housing developments, particularly in the SME space.
