The Law Society of Scotland panel has approved the application of Lydia McLachlan for accreditation as a specialist in family law. The accreditation lasts for a period of five years.
Lydia was employed in the Family Law team after completing her traineeship at Simpson & Marwick in 2007. She then moved to Brodies with the rest of the team in 2015.
In addition to her considerable experience in litigated divorce and child law cases, Lydia has qualified both as a mediator and as a Collaborative lawyer. She is therefore able to offer her clients a wide range of dispute resolution options.
Brodies now has 10 family law accredited specialists in the team reflecting the considerable experience and expertise available to clients across Scotland.
