What is Brodies' In-house Academy?
Delivered by Brodies' lawyers and other specialists and experts in the firm, the In-house Academy consists of quarterly in-person training sessions aimed at junior lawyers working in in-house roles. The informative and topical training sessions provide practical information and discussion, providing the opportunity to extend their depth of knowledge, breadth of skills and range of contacts.
Who is the Academy for?
The In-house Academy is open to junior in-house lawyers who are in the early stages of their career from graduate level up to six years qualified and from across all sectors.
Why should you attend?
The Academy provides an invaluable opportunity for junior in-house lawyers to improve knowledge and understanding of relevant topics, discuss issues with peers, and to network and build lasting relationships.
The programme
The ongoing programme is flexible, and it important for us to ensure that the topics covered reflect your business needs and so we welcome suggestions for other topics that you think would be beneficial to include.
Each session qualifies for one hour CPD (Scottish and English Law Societies) and delegates can request a formal confirmation of attendance.
Do you have aspirations to become a GC?
The Aspiring GCs Network is a quarterly programme of dinner discussion events for a smaller group of leading in-house lawyers with aspirations to become a GC.
