Frostkrone Group is a leading manufacturer of deep-frozen snacks in Europe and the USA. The acquisition of Innovate Foods, one of the leading producers of finger food in the UK, and headquartered in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, represented further commitment to Frostkrone's international growth strategy.
We handled all UK law aspects of this deal, demonstrating in-depth sector knowledge and co-ordinating specialist input on employment, real estate, corporate tax and commercial contracts issues. We worked closely with German law firm, GLNS, who advised on all German law aspects of the transaction.

Outcome
Since the acquisition by German private equity firm EMERAM of a majority stake in Frostkrone in 2017, the group has shown steady international growth; and the acquisition of Innovate Foods has added a Scottish production site to compliment the group's existing sites in Germany, France and the USA and extends the group's product range.
