We negotiated the acquisition of the majority shareholding in Dundee United Football Club by OPG-4 Limited

This was a significant transaction in the context of Scottish football and has resulted in a much-needed cash injection into the club to avoid administration. It is hoped that, given the intended new management structure in the club, it will stand a good chance of promotion to the Scottish Premiership next season.

This complex deal involved collaboration with Brodies' experts in corporate finance and acquisitions, commercial contracts, sponsorship, real estate, employment, pensions and tax.
