We have acted for Accel-KKR, a leading US PE fund focused on tech buyouts, in multiple complex transactions.
This includes;
- the $1.16 billion exit of the Episerver group to Insight Venture Partners, following our role in a programme of acquisitions, as part of the buy and build strategy.
- the merger of Kimble Applications and Mavenlink Inc;
- the build-up of ESG-Utiligroup, a SaaS provider to the utilities industry;
- the acquisition of Norwegian portfolio company Navtor AS and subsequent bolt-on of US-based technology company Tres Solutions; and
- take-private transactions and multiple acquisitions in Europe and the Nordics.
Key highlight
Our work with Accel-KKR is cross-jurisdictional – US and Europe.
Outcome
Our work with Accel-KKR demonstrates the firm's confidence in Brodies' private equity capabilities to routinely manage and deliver sizeable transactions (which would often be the domain of City firms), as well as our cross-border experience.
