Brodies' inaugural family law conference
UK top 50 and leading Scottish firm, Brodies LLP, has announced that its first family law conference will take place in Edinburgh on Thursday 28 September 2023.
With 20 family law solicitors, Brodies LLP has the largest team in Scotland and is delighted to be hosting the conference event, providing family law CPD of the highest quality. A full-day programme of external speakers has been secured. The Rt Hon Lady Wise will deliver the keynote address. Lady Wise became Queen’s Counsel in 2005, was appointed as a Senator of the College of Justice in 2013 and thereafter appointed to the First Division of the Inner House in January 2022. Lady Wise was assigned by the Lord President to be the next President of the Scottish Tribunals commencing 1 May 2023. Speakers are listed below.
The free event will bring together a full range of professionals with an interest in family law from across the UK (including solicitors, advocates, academics and psychologists) and will provide a forum for networking, discussion and debate.
