The Procurement Act 2023 will come into force on 28 October 2024 and will be the most significant change to the rulebook for public and utilities procurement in two decades. With the new rulebook comes new procedures that suppliers to the public sector will have to adjust to, changes to how suppliers will qualify for public sector tendering opportunities, and significant new transparency requirements.

In this webinar focused on suppliers to the public sector, Charles Livingstone and Jamie Dunne looked at:

  • which buyers the Act applies to and when;
  • the key changes to the procedures that contracting authorities can use and the obligations they will have when using them;
  • the key changes to how suppliers will register and qualify for tendering opportunities;
  • new transparency and publication rules; and
  • bringing challenges under the new rules.
