New changes to immigration rules in the UK – what HR needs to know

The UK immigration rules have undergone significant changes recently, many of which took effect on 22 July 2025. In this session for HR professionals, we:

• outlined the new eligibility criteria for the skilled worker route including the new skills and salary thresholds;
• discussed the immigration salary list changes and the new Temporary Shortage List;
