I was at some interesting talks at Brodies Oil and Gas Academy today.
There was comment and helpful updates about the risks in offshore decommissioning with the strategies and options for that.
We also had a very helpful talk from Moira Lamb of Oil & Gas UK.
Moira gave comment upon the implementation of the Offshore H&S Regs that cover Major Accident risks via the Safety Case Regulations 2015.
Moira covered potential duty holder changes for different stages of operations and the new incident reporting requirements along with the portal which is being developed for that.
