The Scottish Government are presently considering the extension of what it describes as the "anti-irritancy measures" included in the Coronavirus (Scotland) Act until 31 March 2021.
If passed, it will keep the 14 weeks' warning notice period in place until 31 March 2021.
The Parliament are expected to consider the extension in the next week or so.
We understand that the The Scottish Government presently has no plans to legislate to prevent landlords from using diligence such as arrestments to recover lease arrears.
