The bill was introduced in March 2024 and is in the early stages of the parliamentary process. In this webinar we discussed the Housing (Scotland) Bill as currently drafted and impact on landlords and tenants. In particular, we covered:

  • rent controls areas;
  • tenants' rights including keeping of pets;
  • the "Ask and Act" duty; and
  • delays to evictions.
