The number of climate change-related cases has more than doubled since 2015, with over 1,000 cases having been brought in the last six years. One of the key areas of challenge is against governments and public authorities when they are making decisions about licenses and permits, particularly those granted in the oil & gas sector.
This session covered:

- recent case law; and
- the environmental, social & governance (ESG) issues that arise in climate litigation.
