If you have a few moments spare, please see the attached report released from Oil & Gas UK today.

The key highlight is that there were no fatal incidents reported under the UKCS Oil & Gas reporting regime for 2015.

I have also noticed that the UKCS loss time injury frequency compares well with neighbouring oil and gas regions and performs better than some others, notably Norway, Denmark and Ireland.

Oil & Gas UK highlights that there is no room for complacency and there are specific section with regard to maintenance, and also a slight increase in low level hydrocarbon released - albeit that may be partially due tomore sensitive testing and therefore greater reporting.

If you have any queries or comments on the report, or any health and safety concerns in the UKCS don't hesitate to get in touch with me or with your usual Brodies contact.
