The Supreme Court has announced that the Elsick case will be heard on Tuesday 13 June while it is sitting in Edinburgh. If you cannot attend in person, the hearing will be broadcast live on the Supreme Court website.
This is an appeal against the decision by the Court of Session to quash the Supplementary Guidance - Strategic Transport Fund, adopted by Aberdeen City and Shire Strategic Development Planning Authority, because of failure to comply with the requirement in Scottish Government circular 3/2012 that any developer contribution in a section 75 planning obligation must relate directly to the development proposed.
