From today (1 September 2016), owners of large commercial premises in Scotland will have to produce an energy performance action plan when they are selling or leasing their property. For more information see our legal update.

Unlike England and Wales,the Scottish Regulations do not prevent owners from leasing properties with poor EPC ratings. So be wary of clients/ colleagues who are used to the system down south and may assume the building will need to be redeveloped.
