The period for representations to be made on the proposed SESplan SDP will start on 13th October and run until 5pm on Thursday 24th November.
Anyone will be able to lodge representations on the Proposed SDP via the SESplan consultation portal.The SESplan website sets out the general background and relevant documents. SESplan covers six Council areas- City of Edinburgh, the Lothians, the Scottish Borders and the southern half of Fife. The review of the planning system resulted in the recommendation that the National Planning Framework define regional housing targets as the basis for setting housing land requirements in local development plans. Could this be one of the last remaining few times that SDP Authorities decide on housing numbers?
