As host to COP26, it was only fitting that Glasgow aimed to be the exemplar with an ambitious £30bn programme to boost the drive to reach Net-Zero by 2030. Glasgow City Council has launched its "Greenprint for Investment" presenting a diverse portfolio for investment to create a greener Glasgow region with projects such as extending the Clyde Climate Forest by 9,000 hectares and building a green cap over the M8 motorway which cuts through the city. Collaboration, innovation and determination will be key to making these projects happen. In a series of blogs taking each project in turn, we will look at how they could be brought to fruition learning from what has gone before and taking bold strides into the new unknown.
