This week marks the 179th Royal Highland Show where the farming community and public come together to celebrate the best of farming, food and rural life.

Brodies have long established links to the Scottish Rural Sector and the team are looking forward to seeing clients, contacts, friends and family at the show and celebrating all things rural. The team at Brodies wouldn't miss it, so please do say hello if you see us at the show.

It is a busy time to be involved in the Scottish Rural Sector. We have recently seen the timely launch to the market of some showcase Scottish farms; The Agricultural Tenant's 3 year Amnesty on Improvements introduced by the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2016 already has less than a year to go; and much like the rest of the UK, the rural industry are braced for Brexit which will undoubtedly bring challenges, but with challenges there will also be opportunities. We are already engaging with clients on these and many other rural topics that will no doubt be discussed over the four day show.

The Show has something for everyone and is an opportunity to engage directly with producers and see the value that they bring to Scotland as a whole. The Rural Sector is incredibly diverse and this is well demonstrated at the Show. We look forward to seeing you there.
