Alexandra qualified as a solicitor in 2022 and worked on corporate and commercial matters with particular focus on investment work. She joined the charities and third sector team in April 2024 and uses her corporate knowledge to assist charities who are seeking commercial advice.

Alexandra helps a wide range of organisations, including clubs, trusts, companies and Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisations (SCIOs). Her experience covers an array of legal matters, such as assisting charities with changing their legal form (e.g. helping charitable trusts changing to companies/SCIOs, etc.), constitution reviews, winding up, facilitating charity mergers and providing tailored advice notes by assessing a charity’s structure and way they work.
