Andrew Sweeney

Andrew specialises in commercial disputes. He joined Brodies in 2024 after lecturing in commercial law at Edinburgh University, and brings his knowledge from lecturing on a wide range of commercial law topics, including agency, guarantees and insurance. He has a keen interest in debt enforcement and contractual disputes.

Andrew has worked closely with counsel in complex Court of Session actions while training at the Scottish Government and on secondment to an international law firm. He also has experience representing clients in sheriff courts.
