Claire is an experienced energy lawyer with over 15 years in the industry having specialised early in her career with a wide range of experience of both complex and high-value transactions, working closely with developers and landowners. This includes expertise in a diverse range of technologies including wind (onshore and offshore), hydro (run of river and pumped storage hydro), biomass, solar, anaerobic digestion plants and battery storage projects.

Claire's experience includes negotiating option agreements and leases for proposed energy developments and dealing with all property related issues; advising borrowers and funders on the financing of renewables projects; drafting and negotiating certificates of title and all real estate documentation associated with these projects; advising in relation to the purchase and sale of renewables assets in the secondary and tertiary markets; conducting property due diligence on operational and non-operational energy assets both onshore and offshore and reporting on complex title issues.

Claire also has experience in all aspects of real estate and can turn her hand to complex developments and deliver work in a timely and pragmatic way.
