Clare Dunlop

Clare has over 25 years’ experience advising clients on rural property matters arising from land ownership in Scotland. She advises on all types of rural property transactions including the purchase and sale of farms, estates, forests and salmon fishings as well as giving general advice to owners and land managers. Clare also advises both rural and urban property owners in respect of all matters relating to the Private Rented Sector including advice on leases, applicable housing law and rights of termination.

She specialises in complex estate and forestry acquisitions and sales including the creation of title conditions; housing law advice; security transactions and salmon fishings (including time shared fishings). Her in depth understanding of the law relating to rural property and housing matters gives her the ability to interpret and explain the law and its application to clients.
