Graeme Leith is an experienced practitioner in the Real Estate practice area and specialises in advising clients who are active in the rural sector. He is known by clients and intermediaries for providing commercial and pragmatic advice, using his legal and sector knowledge to achieve best results.

Graeme leads our Rural Business and Natural Capital Team, comprising more than twenty lawyers who together act for landed estates owners, farming businesses, forestry and natural capital investors, funders and institutions with interests throughout Scotland’s rural landscape. He is experienced in advising clients in a wide variety of rural matters and leading teams in relation to high-value acquisitions and sales of forestry and planting land, options for large-scale housing developments, carbon sequestration projects and renewable energy developments . Clients benefit from his thorough understanding of the forestry sector and its importance to the UK economy and environment.
