Grant is an experienced commercial and regulatory lawyer with a strong breadth and depth of expertise of advising on a diverse range of regulatory frameworks that impact business matters. He has expertise across multiple regulated product sectors ranging from pharmaceuticals, medical devices and cosmetics to chemicals regulations and general consumer product sectors. Grant also advises clients on product classification (and borderline product classification) matters as well as on regulatory approval procedures, product labelling, packaging, traceability, safety and liability issues.

Grant's practice also covers a broad platform of commercial contracts, including technology transfer, IP commercialisation and spin-outs and licensing transactions. Grant also has experience of advising on a wide range of advertising regulation, including responding to complaints received from the Advertising Standards Authority and Trading Standards Scotland. In addition, Grant has advised clients on issues relating to sales promotion matters, including prize draw competitions.

Grant is dual-qualified in Scots law and the law of England and Wales, allowing him to advise to clients with cross-border interests.
