Jacqui Birrell
Jacqui is a senior paralegal in Brodies' Real Estate team with 8 years' experience in licensing law. She is client focused and delivers technically complex advice in clear, accessible terms. Her remit extends to appearing on behalf of clients before Licensing Boards in connection with all types of licensing applications and has an enviable record of success.
Jacqui assists with the liquor licensing aspects of client businesses with extensive experience of managing portfolios for multiple operators across the Scottish market including off-sales, public houses, restaurants, hotels, entertainment venues, theatres and cinemas as part of their estate management team to ensure that procedural and operational licensing requirements are met including the requirements of Personal Licences. She also deals with Civic Government licensing including public entertainment, late night catering, street traders’ and market operators’ licensing requirements. Jacqui also advises clients on Short Term Let licences.
