Joong worked at a leading Korean construction company, where he led contract negotiations for the company’s plant division. His experience spans EPC contracts for petrochemical, power, refinery, and gas projects around the world. In addition to contract negotiations, he participated in claim resolution procedures with major project sponsors. Through these experiences, he has developed strong problem-solving skills and contract strategies that effectively address the interests of all parties.

At Brodies, he advises Korean clients on projects governed by English law and supports international clients seeking to expand their business into the Korean market. He uses his extensive contract experience to advise and review contracts such as FIDIC and JCT, and to draft and advise on amendments, as required
