Katie is in our construction team and specialises in the resolution of construction, infrastructure and engineering disputes, and also non-contentious construction projects. Katie has a wealth of experience in all forms of formal dispute resolution including litigation, mediation, adjudication and arbitration. Katie has acted for companies and multinational employers, contractors and individuals in relation to stadia, power plants, and commercial and leisure premises. As a senior team member, Katie advises clients on the merits of their claim, drafts letters before action and claim documentation and instructs experts to prepare reports and counsel to advise. As part of the claim process, Katie also assists clients in preparing for and attending mediation.

Katie has extensive experience in preparing, negotiating and completing project-specific and generic framework – construction documentation, including building contracts. Katie advises clients on the specific terms of building contracts, providing a ‘red-flag’ review that identifies any clauses that clients need to be commercially aware.
