Katie is an associate in the Oil & Gas team. She trained at an international law firm and moved to Brodies in 2020, initially to work with the Corporate Crime & Investigations team in Aberdeen supporting clients operating in the energy sector. She moved to focus solely on oil and gas in 2022.

Katie has experience of providing support to both upstream, midstream and service sector clients in the UKCS and internationally. She advises on a range of commercial issues including joint operations, commercial contracts and associated operating issues, decommissioning and regulatory considerations.

Her varied background enables her to tackle legal and commercial issues from a unique viewpoint, supported by an established understanding of the range of issues currently facing the energy sector.
