Katie qualified into Brodies' regulation, government, and compliance team in August 2025 following the completion of her traineeship at the firm. Katie gained a wide range of experience during her traineeship, working in Brodies’ banking, restructuring and insolvency, personal and, family and regulation, government and compliance teams. She draws on this experience to provide practical and commercial advice to clients.

Katie provides advice to a diverse range of public, private and third sector clients on public law, regulatory, compliance and health and safety matters. She has experience appearing in Sheriff Courts across Scotland and has also contributed to numerous high profile and complex Court of Session actions and various inquiries and investigations.
