Kevin Winters
Kevin joined the firm in 2019 from the corporate tax practice of an international law firm and is based in Glasgow.
Kevin has a broad range of experience of private client work: preparing wills and powers of attorney; establishing, administering and winding-up trust structures; and estate administration generally. He has a special interest in taxation, particularly where there is an overseas element: where residency/citizenship covers more than one country, Kevin has experience of advising on the UK Statutory Residence Test; he regularly advises clients - both those based in the UK and overseas – on the UK tax consequences of their wealth and succession planning; and is frequently involved in advising on the administration of estates where there is a cross-border element, or where assets are located in other countries.
Kevin regularly collaborates with other advisors (both within the UK and overseas, where appropriate) to facilitate the delivery of comprehensive advice to clients.
