Leona Whyte
Leona is Solicitor and Notary Public in the Oil and Gas practice group. Leona qualified as a Solicitor in August 2024, having completed her oil and gas focused traineeship at Brodies, with a particular emphasis on drilling and oilfield services. Leona is experienced in drafting, negotiating, and advising clients on high value transactions, projects and mega-tenders in both the UKCS and the Middle East.
Leona was the first trainee seconded to Brodies Middle East LLP and spent the last year of her traineeship seconded to a major operator in Abu Dhabi where she was responsible for drilling & oilfield services, technical & OEM services, operations & maintenance, and consultancies. Leona's varied experience and attention to detail enables her to advise on highly technical nuances of oil and gas contracts from a unique perspective.
