Lois is a solicitor in the oil and gas team at Brodies. Having trained with a local firm, Lois qualified as a solicitor in July 2024.

Lois now supports clients across the UKCS and the Middle East on a wide range of upstream, midstream and service sector matters. Soon after joining Brodies, Lois was seconded to a midstream operator. In that role, she was responsible for managing drafting updates to a suite of contracts. Her in-house experience has given her strong commercial understanding, and has enabled her to advise clients pragmatically on some of the more complex arrangements within oil and gas agreements.

Lois has extensive experience drafting and reviewing trust deeds for decommissioning security agreements, as well as preparing deeds of novation and splitting agreements. She has also negotiated both common form and bespoke oil and gas agreements, including interface agreements, crossing agreements, RSPAs, CAs, TPAs, and CTIAs.
