Lynsey joined Brodies in January 2026 with considerable experience, both in-house and in private practice, of working with public sector clients, across a number of sectors. Lynsey is experienced in advising in matters involving vulnerable adults, social care regulation and public protection. She regularly appears in courts and tribunals throughout Scotland in procedural and substantive hearings.

Lynsey’s clients include local government, regulatory bodies, housing associations and private clients. Lynsey is regularly instructed by local authorities to provide legal opinions in relation to the extent of their statutory duties.
