
Matthew Lyon
Matthew is an Associate in the rural business and natural capital team at Brodies. He advises on a broad range of rural property matters for the firm's diverse client base and is a key contact for some of the firm's large landowner clients. Matthew is regularly instructed in connection with the full suite of farm and estate real estate work including the sale and purchase of farms and estates, all forms of agricultural and residential leasing, bespoke title conditions, Minutes of Agreement and Security work and is regularly engaged with Option and Lease agreements for battery storage, wind farm and other renewables projects for landowner clients.
His in depth knowledge and expertise in relation to conveyancing and land registration matters is valued by clients. Matthew has considerable experience in leading and advising on a number of complex voluntary land registration projects for a variety of rural and commercial clients across Scotland.
