
Nicky-Ray Watson
Nicky-Ray is a senior associate in the Commercial Disputes & Claims Team, based in Glasgow. He specialises in contentious insolvency matters, advising insolvency practitioners, companies, individuals, and organisations within the public and private sector, on all aspects of insolvency litigation. He has a particular focus on personal insolvency and is regularly instructed in court actions to recover assets for the benefit of insolvent estates, as well as all other matters that arise from the sequestration process. He also deals with corporate insolvency and corporate dispute matters.
Nicky-Ray has considerable court experience, regularly appearing on behalf of clients at sheriff courts throughout Scotland to conduct debates, evidential hearings and opposed motions. He has also appeared at the Sheriff Appeal Court and First-tier Tribunal for Scotland (Housing and Property Chamber).
