Rachael Jane Ruth
Rachael is an associate in the professional indemnity team with experience in defending negligence claims and regulatory complaints. She acts for major UK and international insurers representing legal and construction professionals.
Her background in contentious and non-contentious construction law gives Rachael a unique perspective on negligence actions in the industry involving surveyors, engineers, architects and other professionals. She regularly acts on behalf of clients in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session, as well as various methods of Alternative Dispute Resolution. She also has experience in representing professionals in disciplinary matters before their regulatory and governing bodies.
