Ros James
Ros has a keen interest in rural matters, living on the Isle of Skye where she works most of the time.
She has experience of a variety of property related matters such as acquisitions and sales, securities, leases and servitudes. Ros has particular expertise in relation to title work, with detailed knowledge of title registration requirements (including specialist knowledge in relation to voluntary registration, foreshore, sporting/fishings and minerals rights), as well as expertise in crofting law, and in relation to residential tenancies. She acts for both private and business clients, with a variety of property interests including crofts, farms, estates, forestry, residential property portfolios, and telecommunication and renewable energy developments. With a practical, solution driven approach, Ros liaises with colleagues across the firm to provide a comprehensive, top quality service as part of Scotland’s largest dedicated legal rural practice.
