Ruth MacLeod

Ruth MacLeod is head of communications at Brodies. A chartered PR practitioner and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), she has more than 25 years' experience leading communications functions and advising organisations on media relations, public affairs, internal and digital communications, campaigns, change and crisis communications.

Before joining Brodies, Ruth held senior communications roles across a range of public and third sector organisations, including the police service, Scottish Government, City of Edinburgh Council, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, the British Medical Association and the Church of Scotland. She has also served as a member of the Accounts Commission for Scotland, overseeing the financial audit and performance scrutiny of Scottish local government bodies.
