Sophie advises clients on a broad range of family law issues including divorce, cohabitation, separation, pre-nuptial and postnuptial agreements and child related issues including adoption.

Sophie has a particular interest in cross-jurisdictional matters, including international divorce, relocation and child abduction. She is passionate about securing positive, workable solutions for her clients and works with them to achieve a negotiated settlement using alternative dispute resolution methods wherever possible.

Sophie regularly appears in the Sheriff Courts and has experience of instructing counsel in Court of Session actions. She is based in our Aberdeen office.
